Challenge #4: Most "NSFW" song

I can not state this clearly enough. DO NOT CLICK THIS LINK. It contains graphic nudity and graphic sex. If you DO decide to click this link, you'd better be at least 18 and not a prude, because I don't want to hear any griping, I warned you. This song is called "Fist Fuck" by Rockbitch. This is the most offensive live stage show I think I've ever seen next to GiGi Allen. The only reason I post Rockbitch and not GiGi is that you can actually hear lyrics and melody (sort of) with Rockbitch. While GiGi played totally naked and routinely defecated and fought with his audience, these girls play either half or totally naked, conduct extreme sex acts on stage (urination, fisting, etc...) all while playing average rock music. So, I encourage you again to NOT VIEW THE VIDEO, just vote for me and know that this video is just god awful.

Challenge #4: Most "NSFW" Song!

We all have those foul, dirty awful songs that we secretly know all the words to.  We wouldn't play them at work (unless you work at a club), but we will hum them when no one's around.  Here's my DIRTY song entry, Riskay - Smell Yo Dick!

Challenge #3: They sang WHAT?!?! Nic's Entry

Okay, so I really really liked Chris's entry, and may in fact vote for that one myself.  But here's my entry.  Enjoy!

Challenge #3: They sang WHAT?!?! Chris's Entry

Challenge 3 asks you to come up with the best example of an artist singing something totally out of their genre. Liberace Death Metal? Slayer Nursery Rhymes? Stuff like that is out here.
Actually, just don't bother, because I've got the grand daddy of "Holy Shit, WHO is singing WHAT?!?!" Ladies and Gentlemen, Aretha Franklin is about to kick your ass in a way you're not expecting.

Challenge #2: Best "Watch and See" Artist: The Vote

Challenge #2: Best "Wait and See" Artist: Chris's Entry

I'm still waiting for this guy to go from YouTube sensation to millionaire pop music icon. He's got a few albums out, but I've never seen him on any mainstream media outlets.... Geeks, stand up, and recognize the awesome that is RONALD JENKEES!!!!

Challenge #2: Best "Wait and See" Artist: Nic's Entry

This is a tough one...I listen to a lot of "Up and Coming" artists, but as of late it seems they are all becoming more and more famous.  I submit for your approval Lissie.  Lissie grew up in Rock Island, IL, an hour away from my hometown.  She's a hippy-folk-rock ingĂ©nue who has an amazing album and can cover anything from Lady Gaga to Lionel Richie.  This particular video was actually taken by me at The Mercy Lounge in Nashville.  Here's Lissie with my favorite by her, "When I'm Alone".

Challenge #2 : Best "Wait and See" Artist : Marie's Entry

My challenge is to find an up and coming artist who you think has so much potential that they will soon be "world recognized". My artist is Selah Sue, a singer-songwriter from Belgium. She has just released her first full album on March 7th. I got to see a rare performance at Perez Hilton's One Night in Austin SXSW Party! It was just her and her guitar on that stage and I found that she steals your breath and then amazes you with her voice and ability to rap in raggae-style. She is being compared to artist such as Lauryn Hill and Erikah Badu, but honestly, I feel she has the potential to surpass their greatness! So take a listen and tell me what you think!

Challenge #1: That Guy is White?!?! The Vote

Challenge #1: That Guy is White?!?! Chris's Entry

You guys did pretty well. Soulful yes... but I still think "honky-saurus" when I hear them. Now my entry... Close your eyes and go back to the years of Barry White, Lou Rawls, Aaron Neville, Earth Wind and Fire, and the Commodores. Hear that awesome funk that most white dudes can't deliver? Tell me you don't imagine this being played right amongst the kings of soul.

Challenge #1: That Guy is White?!?! Marie's Entry

This is Austin, Texas native, Dan Dyer. I had the pleasure of seeing him play in a musical round table while visiting Austin with my best friend. He is one of those musicians that tells a story and takes you through the emotions with him in a song. You find yourself forgetting to breathe while he sings...

As competitive as I am.... when it comes to music, there is a true love there. That's what this is about for me.This guy is amazing and real..take a listen.

Challenge #1: That Guy is White?!?! Nic's Entry

The first challenge is all about breaking the race barrier.  White guys can have soul too!  Case in point; one Mr. Marc Broussard from Carencro, Louisiana.  Close your eyes and you'd swear you were hearing some old Motown legend crooning away.  So without further ado, here is my entry: Marc Broussard singing "I Love You More Than You'll Ever Know" originally by the great Donny Hathaway.  En Garde Marie, En Garde!
